We found Minh Ly once again involved in a pot for his tournament life, and this time, he came up on the proverbial short end of the stick.

. Ly checked the action over to his opponent, and Fernandez put out a bet of 400. Ly check-raised all in for about 3,000, and Fernandez quickly called.

Fernandez was well ahead with his triple nines and had Minh Ly's tournament life in his hands. The turn and river came {3-Diamonds}
