Following Brad Daugherty's departure, tournament director Bill Bruce called a temporary halt to play on the secondary feature, hustling over to Table 146 to get a player and balance the tables at seven each.

Except... there was no need. Upon arriving, Bruce found Scotty Nguyen all in with pocket tens against Tom McEvoy's pocket jacks. Neither player improved, and Nguyen exited in 14th as McEvoy surged to challenge Carlos Mortensen for the lead.

The secondary feature table was able to plow ahead with its six remaining players, and the seven at Table 146 also continued on.
