Maria Ho was one of the first to move past the 10k mark in chips; here's a look at the hand that catapulted her to the top:

An opponent sitting in the ten seat opened with a raise to 300. Ho, sitting with aces, opted to slow play her hand and therefore just called.

Ho then check-called bets of 525 and 1,500 on the flop and turn as the board filled out: {A-?}

giving Maria quads.

The river brought another six and Ho open-shoved all in for 3,000. Her opponent made the call, but quickly mucked at the site of Maria's quad aces. After the hand, the Bluff/WSOP hostess stacked up 10,500 in chips.
