Lowball's Baxter's Game, but Chino Getting the Best of It
"And look at all them chips you got. Oh that's right. You beat me for some of them."
The next hand, Rheem opened for 450 from under the gun. Baxter made it 1,500 from the small blind.
"Here, I'll give some of them back," said Rheem as he tossed in a call.
"Yeah right," replied Baxter. He rapped pat. Rheem drew one card, then bet 3,200 after Baxter checked.
Baxter mulled over his option for about thirty seconds. "Well, at least I'll sleep well tonight," he remarked as he threw in a call. Rheem showed down 8-6-5-4-2.
"I knew that was a bad call," said Tim Phan. It didn't seem that Baxter (or anyone else) paid him much attention.
