A Little Dig at Hougaard

One of the players at Jesper Hougaard's table must have been reading up on Hougaard's Day 1 progress in the tournament last night after play concluded. Hougaard took the chip lead late by hitting a very thin draw. As we reported yesterday,

"After a flop of {A-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} {4-Spades} Jesper Hougaard bet out 7,200 and was raised by his opponent to 23,200. Jesper reraised pot and his opponent called all in.

Hougaard: {A-Hearts} {K-Spades} {Q-Diamonds} {2-Hearts}
Opponent: {A-Spades} {A-Clubs} {7-Spades} {4-Diamonds}

Drawing very thin in this now 200,000 pot, Hougaard hit a miracle {10-Hearts} on the turn to make his straight. The board failed to pair on the river when the {5-Diamonds} hit and Hougaard took the biggest pot of the day thus far."

Hougaard's table-mate today couldn't resist a dig.

"Was that hand you doubled up on last night reported correctly?" he asked. Hougaard responded that it was.

"You just had ace-king-queen?" Hougaard's opponent asked skeptically. Again, Hougaard grinned sheepishly and responded that it was, but then added that if he had lost the hand he still would have had about 100,000 chips.
