Jameson Painter Eliminated in 8th Place ($21,819)
Knocking out Rep Porter with some timely pocket aces actually helped to drag him out of the 90,000 hole he'd found himself in, but he was back down to just 55,000 after an encounter with Alex Keating.
Keating raised under the gun and Painter called out of the big blind to see a flop, on which Painter check-raised. He bet out on the turn and then check-called a bet form Keating on the river -- and mucked to Keating's full house.
A couple hands later and Marc Naalden raised under the gun and Painter reraised from the cutoff; call. Naalden checked the flop and Painter bet; Naalden raised and Painter called all in.
Painter:
Naalden: that classic under-the-gun raiser
Turn:
River: to make Naalden a straight for good measure.
"Go back in the tournament!" shouted one of Painter's disappointed railers, as the media mused upon the terrible irony of Painter's orange-clad railers (that's the Pumpkin color) inadvertently wearing the Dutch colors for the gent who'd just knocked their boy out.
