Peisert Takes Another

Michael Noda raised and then Jorg Peisert reraised. Noda made the call and the flop came down {10-Diamonds} {9-Clubs} {4-Diamonds}. Action was checked to the turn, which brought the {6-Clubs}. Again, action was checked.

The river was the {4-Hearts} and Peisert fired out 375,000 chips. Noda took his time and then mucked, giving Peisert the pot as a loud cheer came from his section of the rail.

Noda Gettin' Some

Michael Noda moved all in for 650,000 after Michael Katz raised to 95,000. Katz made the call with {A-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts}. Noda held {8-Spades} {7-Spades}. The flop was big for Noda when it came {K-Spades} {10-Spades} {8-Clubs}, giving him a pair and a flush draw. The turn was the {3-Diamonds} and the river the {2-Hearts}. Katz was unable to hit any of his overcards or make a straight.

No Slowrolling Here

The board read {8-Hearts} {3-Spades} {3-Hearts} {K-Hearts} {5-Clubs} when Jorg Peisert bet 375,000. Michael Katz announced a call and Peisert sat frozen. Again, Katz announced a call, but Peisert must not have heard him. Finally, someone on the rail yelled out, "He said call, don't slowroll," to which Peisert showed {J-Hearts} {4-Hearts} for a flush. Katz mucked his hand and dropped to 1,230,000 chips. Peisert is up to 3,065,000.

Jason DeWitt raised to 95,000 and Jorg Peisert called. The flop came down {10-Hearts} {6-Spades} {5-Clubs} and Peisert fired out 110,000. DeWitt called.

The turn brought the {K-Diamonds} and Peisert fired 165,000. DeWitt raised to 400,000 and then Peisert moved all in. DeWitt snap-folded and wandered over to the rail where he conversed with one of his buddies.

"What in the hell does he have there?" he questioned.

DeWitt - 1,300,000

Karga Holt Eliminated in 7th Place ($63,781)

Karga Holt - 7th Place
Karga Holt - 7th Place
From under the gun, Michael Katz raised to 76,000 and action folded all the way around to Karga Holt in the small blind. Holt moved all in for 503,000 total. The big blind got out of the way and Katz went into the tank for what seemed like ages. Multiple times Katz tried to put the chips into the middle to make the call, but seemed physically unable to as if his arm wouldn't extend.

"This is close, this is so close. I think I'm going to need to flip a coin on this one." Katz said, to which Benjamin Gilbert pulled out a coin and tossed it across the table. Laughter ensued around the room and even Katz sparked a smile.

Finally, after a solid five or six minutes, Katz made the call. He showed {K-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} against Holt's {A-Hearts} {K-Hearts}.

The dealer burned and dealt the flop. The door card was the {Q-Spades}, with the {K-Spades} and {K-Clubs} to follow. The turn was the {J-Spades} and the river the {2-Diamonds}. Holt was sent to the rail in seventh place in a very unfortunate fashion.
