Jack Effel did make an appearance, by the way. He explained that the secondary feature table is off-limits so it can be prepared for the Main Event. The players, led by Jason DeWitt, complained that playing on Green 152 allowed almost no opportunity for railbirds to watch. Effel suggested switching to Green 151, which had a bigger rail. That was the agreed solution.
