Pham Shoving Some More

Before the flop, Antonio Esfandiari raised it up to 160,000, and he found three callers including both blinds. The flop came out {9-Clubs} {3-Hearts} {2-Diamonds}, and the blinds checked it over. Esfandiari continued out with a bet of 420,000, enough to fold one player behind him. From the small blind though, our man of all ins, Hung Pham, did it again. With 1,090,000 chips in his stack, Pham shoved in, and the big blind quickly ducked out.

Esfandiari was not so quick to act though, leaning back in his chair and shooting a grin across the table. "I got a bad feeling. In every respect. Spritually, financially... " He cocked his head to the side and added, "But if I bust you..."

"Bust him!" came a cry from the rail, followed quickly by a warning from the floor person. Esfandiari responded, "I know, I know. But I don't have anything!" With that, he returned his cards to the muck, and Pham picks up a big chunk of easy chips. He's now well over the 2,000,000-chip mark, and he still hasn't shown a hand down here at the featured table.

From the rail came another voice, "You need to raise more preflop, Antonio! One sixty isn't enough!" Another warning from the floor person.

"Thanks for that," said Antonio.
