Teaching the Pros a Lesson

We pick up the action in a three-way pot over on the Table of Doom with the fifth street cards already out on the table.

Eli Elezra: (X-X) {Q-Spades} {8-Spades} {J-Clubs}
Andy Bloch: (X-X) {7-Hearts} {2-Clubs} {5-Hearts}
Pawel Andrzejewski: (X-X) {Q-Diamonds} {3-Spades} {J-Diamonds}

On fifth street, Elezra had the lead, and he opted to bet. Bloch made the call next door, while Andrzejewski raised it up to 1,000. Both opponents put in the extra bet to see the next card.

On sixth street, Elezra drew the {8-Diamonds}, picking up a pair on board. He led out once again with a bet of 500. Bloch ducked out, but Andrzejewski made the call after pulling the {8-Clubs}.

On seventh street, heads up now, Elezra glanced at his card before tapping the table. Andrzejewski made a bet, and Elezra called.

When he turned his cards over, Andrzewjewski's hand read {Q-Diamonds} {3-Spades} {J-Diamonds} {8-Clubs} ({K-Hearts} {K-Clubs} {3-Diamonds}). His two pair was plenty good to rake in that big pot, and he has worked up over the 35,000-chip mark.
