Action folded to Kent Washington who moved all-in for 72,000 from middle position. The action folded behind him and he was awarded the pot.
Action folded to Matt Hollinger in the small blind who raised. Yuta Motoyama released and Hollinger raked in the pot.
Our chip leader Hoai Pham opened from middle position and the blinds and antes surrendered.
We went on a short break, but we are back with just ten runners remaining in Event #1!

David Patent has been eliminated by the unstoppable force that is Hoai Pham.
Patent got his short stack in pre-flop with Pham and the hands were opened:

The 
flop pushed Patent ahead, and the 
changed nothing because of the paired board. Dozens of spectators were crowded around the table in anticipation and they all jolted when the dealer spiked the 
on the river.
"I GOT IT!!!!" Pham screamed at the top of his longs.
Patent stared at the board for a moment before shaking Phams hand and retreating from the table. Pham is on a heater to end all heaters, sitting with 470,000 chips.
Arthur Vea raised preflop from the button only to have Brian Phillis push in his entire stack. Vea made the call and they turned over their cards:

and Phillis was in need of some serious help. The 
fell on the turn and Phillis was looking for a five. The 
on the river was close, but not close enough. Phillis finished in 12th place.
We are now just two eliminations away from the final table.
Hoai Pham did it again.
Action folded to Pham who opened to 40,000 from the cutoff.
"You raised to forty-thousand?" Kent Washington asked very perplexed. "Well, I'm all in then."
Pham immediately called, forgetting that Yuta Motoyama had to act. Motoyama quickly folded and Pham turned over black aces again! A disgusted Washington tabled .
The board ran 
and and a wave of chips was pushed Pham's way.
The hand left Washington crippled with just 80,000 chips but Pham is living large with 364,500 chips.
