Filippi Takes a Hit

Three players limped in, the small blind completed and Amnon Filippi checked his option in the big blind.

, the small blind checked and Filippi fired 1,150. Two players called and the next two, including the small blind, folded.

on the turn and an early-position player bet 3,200. The player in between called and so too did Filippi.
Another jack rivered, the 
and Filippi checked again. The early-position player bet 5,200, the player in between folded with just 1,500 behind and the action was back on Filippi. He grabbed five yellow T1,000 chips and began riffling them slowly, trying to piece the hand together. Finally he added two black T100 chips and tossed them in.
His opponent tabled 
for the nut-straight and Filippi mucked his cards. He now sits with just 15,000 chips.
