Schmelev had the bring-in on third street, Kassela completed and Schmelev called. Kassela led out with the high board on fourth and Schmelev called. Schmelev made an open pair of jacks on fifth and bet, Kassela making the call. Kassela hit an open pair of aces on sixth and led, Schmelev looking him up. Both players checked the river.
Kassela's aces were good and he scooped the pot. Schmelev is now riding the short stack with 145,000.
