Anthony Gargano just picked up an early double of his own through Jeff Williams. We just caught the tail end of the hand, but the board of 
was kind to Gargano's 
, and he's moved from 191,000 to start the hand to 424,000.
Williams has slipped a bit, but he's still sitting pretty with 1.13 million.
Jason DeWitt opened to 41,000 from the cutoff, and Nico Behling was the only caller, coming along from the big blind.
The flop rolled out 
, and Behling fired right out into the pot with 76,000 chips. DeWitt wasted no time calling, and the blank 
hit fourth street. Behling eyed up his remaining chips before announcing an all in for 306,000 total. That sent DeWitt deep into the tank for several minutes, his chips still only halfway stacked from their de-bagging some twenty minutes ago. Finally, and reluctantly, he folded.

Joshua Macciello opened for 50,000 from the cutoff position before James Carroll announced he was all in from the button. The blinds quickly folded and Macciello thought for a few moments. He had roughly 300,000 behind and he decided to commit them to the pot.

Macciello would need some help and he got it on the 
flop as he spiked two pair. However the crowd let out a collective "oooooh" as the hit the turn to give Carroll a set of queens. The river bricked the 
and Macciello becomes our first elimination of the day in 18th place for a collect of $31,305.
On the first hand of the day, David Benefield open-shoved all in for 324,000. Right behind him, Paul Foltyn made the quick call, and the rest of the table ducked out of the way.

Good afternoon and welcome back to Event #17 of the 2010 World Series of Poker. Today is the day where dreams are realized and champions are made. 18 players return but only one will walk away with the WSOP gold bracelet.
Yesterday was a fun day of poker as these guys demonstrated their willingness to put chips into the middle in a lethal combination of aggression and gamble. Let's hope we see some more of that today.
They will be led by Jason DeWitt who emerged late in the day to claim the chip advantage. But he won't have it easy with several big name pros and online young guns lurking in the field.
The two remaining tables have been setup in the center of the Amazon Room with plenty of rail space so that family and friends can see all of the action up close. Once we reach a final table we assume that we'll be relocating to the main feature table to bring this event to a conclusion sometime late this evening.
