Billy Baxter Knows Lowball
"So you've won this event 13 times, right? 23 times?"
Daniel Negreanu is now sitting on Billy Baxter's left, and was asking him about his many bracelets in lowball events. Baxter gave him the real answer -- five bracelets in deuce-to-seven events, and seven overall (all in lowball games).
"You must be good at it!" quipped Negreanu with a grin that made it clear he was joking around. "Or really, really lucky!"
We're going to go with the former. As we head to the break, Baxter is sitting with about 109,000 -- right in the middle of the pack with 21 left.
