The table folded around to new chip leader Kami Chisholm on the button who raised to 37,000. Then Sidsel Boesen responded with a reraise to 90,000 from the small blind. Bonnie Overfield folded from the big blind, and the action was back on Chisholm. After thinking for a half-minute, she made the call.
The dealer burned a card and delivered the flop -- . Boesen checked, and Chisholm slid out a bet of 150,000. With a displeased look at how things have been going thus far today, Boesen pushed her cards to the dealer to fold.
That one carries Chisholm up over a million chips, more than twice her nearest competitor.
Loren Watterworth moved all in for her last 44,000. Vanessa Hellebuyck then moved all in herself. Both blinds folded and the two players turned over their cards:
Watterworth:
Hellebuyck:
The flop came , leaving Hellebuyck drawing thin. The on the turn gave her a straight draw, but the on the river ensured Watterworth's double. She is now at 130,000 while Hellebuyck drops to around 175,000.
Sidsel Boesen opened with a raise to 36,000 from under the gun, and it folded around to Kami Chisholm who called from the big blind.
The flop came an intriguing . Chisholm paused a beat, then bet 40,000. Boesen pushed her chips around a little, then made the call.
The turn was the . This time Chisholm checked, and Boesen checked as well. The river brought the . Chisholm -- a.k.a. "Dr. Kamikaze" -- used both hands to push out a bet of 140,000. Boesen quickly made the call.
Chisholm tabled for a flopped flush, and Boesen mucked. After taking that large pot, Chisholm moves up around 900,000 on that one -- and into the chip lead -- while Boesen slips back to about 440,000.
Bonnie Overfield has a below-average stack, but is not content to sit back and wait.
Just now came a hand in which the table folded to Overfield who open-raised all in from the hijack with her stack of 200,000. All folded, and Overfield picked up the blinds and antes.
On the next hand, the table folded to Sidsel Boesen who raised to 27,000 from middle position, and Overfield, sitting to Boesen's left, reraised to 65,000. The others folded, and the action was back on Boesen.
The Danish player peered out from beneath the brim of her black cap at Overfield, hand over her mouth, as she contemplated what to do. Finally after about a minute, she let it go. Overfield moves up over 240,000 as we head to break.
Sidsel Boesen raised to 27,000 in middle position. Action folded to La Sengphet in the big blind who made the call.
The flop came and Sengphet checked. Boesen bet 34,000, Sengphet moved all in, and Boesen mucked. Sengphet added 96,000 to her stack, bringing it to around 325,000, while Boesen took a small hit.
Timmi Derosa opened with a raise to 45,000 from UTG+1. It folded around to Bonnie Overfield in the big blind who made the call.
The flop came all face cards -- . Overfield checked, and Derosa didn't hesitate to push all in. Overfield had about 230,000 behind, and was covered by Derosa. She thought about it for thirty seconds or so and let it go.
Derosa showed her pocket aces as she scooped the pot. Scary flop there!
Derosa chips up to 480,000, and Overfield preserves her 230,000.
Sidsel Boesen once again opened with a raise to 27,000, and it folded to La Sengphet in the cutoff who moved all in for 180,000. The button and both blinds got out, and Boesen didn't take long to get out as well.
Boesen is still our leader with about 760,000, while Sengphet remains a short stack with 234,000.
