Another Tank-Fold

Jeffrey Papola completed with the button, Men Nguyen checked his option and the flop fell {8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}.

Nguyen check-called 95,000 from Papola and the turn brought the {q-Diamonds}.

Nguyen check-called 200,000 from Papola.

Before the {j-Spades} rivered, Nguyen checked dark. Papola bet 600,000 and Nguyen went deep into the tank. Close to ten minutes passed before Nguyen folded and Papola was shipped the pot.

Another Dark Check

Jeffrey Papola opened to 160,000 with the button and Men Nguyen called.

Nguyen checked dark, again, and the flop fell {10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}. Papola bet 200,000 and Nguyen moved all in. Papola folded and Nguyen showed the {10-Spades}.

"That is why I check dark baby!!!" Nguyen shouted.

In the words of Peyton Manning, Nguyen is a little "liquored up."

Heads Up Déjà Vu

Jeff Papola and Men Nguyen are now heads up for the bracelet. Both have been in this exact spot in the last two weeks. Men defeated Brandon Adams heads up to win his seventh career bracelet in the $10,000 Seven Card Stud Championship. Only four days ago, at the final table of the last 6-max event, Jeff Papola was in the same seat he occupies now. He lost heads up to William Haydon after outlasting 1,243 other players. In this 6-max, he's survived 566 players to get one more shot at the glory.

Nguyen, on the other hand, has a a chance to become this year's first double bracelet winner. He's already locked up a three-way tie for WSOP Player of the Year, but if he wins, he'll pass Michael Mizrachi and James Dempsey and become the man to beat for the summer's top honor.

Mark Radoja Eliminated in 3rd Place ($262,902)

Mark Radoja - 3rd Place
Mark Radoja - 3rd Place

Mark Radoja opened to 175,000 on the button and Jeffrey "jpapola" Papola called from the big blind.

The flop fell {5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and Papola checked to Radoja who continued for 225,000. Papola check-raised to 575,000 and Radoja moved all in. Papola quickly called.

Showdown
Radoja: {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Papola: [tc 9h}

The turn brought the {8-Diamonds} giving Radoja more outs, but the {k-Hearts} on the river did not improve his hand and he was eliminated from the tournament.

You would've thought Men Nguyen won the tournament or at least the hand the way he was celebrating after the river.

Radoja's rail was none too happy with this and yelled a few mean things at Nguyen. The tournament director suggested that the rail leave, and they did.

Radoja headed to the cage to collect $262,902 for his 3rd place finish and Nguyen is now heads up with Jeffrey Papola for the bracelet.
