Burt Boutin Eliminated in 10th Place ($16,075)
Three players made it to the flop. Burt Boutin bet 25,000 and Kevin MacPhee called. Jose-Luis Velador folded, and they were heads up to the turn.
Turn:
Boutin bet out 75,000, but MacPhee raised pot. It looked like that would be enough to put him all in - but before it was established whether or not MacPhee was all in, Boutin had called.
On their backs.
Boutin: for a flush draw and two pair, jacks and fives
MacPhee: for an open-ended straight draw and a lower two pair, jacks and fours
River: giving MacPhee a higher two pair than Boutin's - jacks and eights
"F***," said Boutin, loudly and with feeling.
With that, Boutin took 10th place and Kevin "ImaLuckSac" MacPhee virtually doubled to 630,000.
"That guy's a luck sack!" cried someone at the rail. Indeed.
