New Chipleader

John Woo was on the button and limped. Harold Angle then raised to 190,000 from the small blind. The big blind folded and Woo made the call.

The flop came down {9-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Angle bet 250,000. Woo raised to 750,000 and Angle immediately reraised to 1.425 million. Woo, who was left with 3.715 million, mucked and gave a big chunk of change to Angle, who is the new chipleader with 4.205 million.

Minetti All In

Both John Woo and Harold Angle limped and Mike Minetti moved all from the big blind for 440,000 more with the {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}. Angle folded and Woo made the call and showed {J-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}.

Minetti was in great shape until the flop came {8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. Suddenly he needed to catch a nine, queen or running hearts to stay alive. His odds improved a little when the {2-Hearts} came on the turn. That was one of the hearts he needed, and the {A-Hearts} on the river was the other.

Minetti doubled to 1.075 million while Woo dropped to 4.6 million.

Eric Stemp Eliminated in 4th Place ($154,624)

Eric Stemp- 4th Place
Eric Stemp- 4th Place

John Woo raised to 185,000 from the small blind and Eric Stemp made the call from the big. The flop came down {2-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs}. Woo moved all in and Stemp instantly called and showed {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}.

Stemp's supporter's seemed to like his chances, that is until they saw the {Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} of Woo. Stemp's supporters started calling for a seven, to complete the straight, and began to cheer when the {5-Clubs} hit the turn. It took a moment for them to realize that the card gave both players a flush.

Stemp did pick up a straight flush draw. He was looking for the seven or three of clubs to stay alive. It was not meant to be as the {A-Hearts} came on the river. Woo increased his stack to around 4.8 million while Stemp was eliminated from the tournament in fourth place ($154,624).

Angle Remains Aggressive

Harold Angle

Eric Stemp was in the small blind and raised to 160,000. Harold Angle called from the big blind and the two saw a flop of {9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}.

Stemp checked and Angle fired out a bet of 250,000. Stemp made the call and then checked the {2-Clubs} on the turn. Angle fired another 400,000 and this time Stemp folded.

Angle is up to 3.45 million while Stemp is down to around 960,000.

That's a Sharp Angle

Mike Minetti raised to 170,000 from the cutoff and Harold Angle called from the big blind. The flop came down {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Angle bet 175,000. Minetti made the call as the {4-Diamonds} hit the turn.

Angle bet 300,000 and again Minetti called. When the {Q-Spades} was put out on the river, Angle bet 500,000 and Minetti made the call. When Angle showed {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}, Minetti mucked. He is down to around 900,000 while Angle is over 3 million.

Stemp Doubles Through Woo

Everyone limped to Stemp in the big blind who moved all in for 555,000 more. Action folded to John Woo who, as usual, went into the tank. Instead of folding after tanking, as he had done the past few times Stemp moved all in, Woo made the call and showed {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades}.

Stemp was ahead with the {6-Hearts}{6-Spades} as the flop came {K-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}. Woo picked up a straight draw to go with his overs. The {A-Spades} on the turn gave Woo even more outs, but when the {8-Spades} came on the turn, Stemp doubled to 1.32 million. With that loss, Woo is still the chip leader with 3.875 million.

Stemp Picking Up Chips

Michael Minetti raised to 120,000 from the cutoff and John Woo called on the button. Eric Stemp shoved for about 675,000 from the small blind and Harold Angle folded his big blind.

Both Minetti and Woo folded as well, giving Stemp the pot.

Eric Stemp is making his way back towards 1,000,000.
