Things didn't go well very Jordan Siegel today at all. He was continually run down by some slim draws. He finally made a stand in the Omaha round with . Chad Brown was there to take him on with . Each player paired the flop, , but Brown's jacks were best. Siegel caught a great turn, , to give himself a number of ways to claim at least half. But the river bricked to end his tournament in 19th place.
Dale Phillips was all in on the flop, with the resurgent Ming Reslock looking to end his tournament. Phillips tabled , with Reslock showing . There was only one low card on the flop, and when another high card came to give Reslock a made hand on the turn, Phillips was drawing dead. He leaves in 20th place and will collect $9,604.

On fourth street, Hughes had the lead and bet. Schock came along and Singer folded. Hughes had the lead again on fifth street and bet and was called by Schock.
On sixth street, Schock took the lead and check-called a bet by Hughes. The last round of betting saw Schock bet, only to be raised by Hughes. Schock called all in and was at risk.

On two separate tables, but virtually simultaneously, Ming Reslock and Brent Wheeler doubled up. Reslock was raised on the turn of a board by Phil Ivey. She called all in with unimproved . On the feature table, Wheeler fired a bet on the river of a board that showed , leaving himself just 5,000 behind. Jordan Siegel was pained to make the call, but finally did so saying, "Hopefully we're chopping." He was a little steamed to see Wheeler turn over , having turned a set of jacks.
Heimiller: X-X / / X
Juanda: X-X / / X
Phillips: X-X / / X
Things quickly got out of hand on third street at Dale Phillips' table. Ming Reslock brought it in and was completed by Farzad Bonyadi. Dale Phillips called, only to see Dan Heimiller and John Juanda raise and re-raise behind him. He called both raises before Heimiller raised again. Juanda and Phillips both called.
Juanda had the lead on fourth street and checked it. Phillips also checked, giving Heimiller the opportunity to bet. Juanda raised. Phillips re-raised all in and was called by both players.
Heimiller bet fifth street after Juanda checked, then bet the lead on sixth street after the all-in Phillips made open fours. Juanda called both times. On the river, Heimiller checked, then seemed to know he was beat when Juanda bet. For the size of the pot, perhaps, he couldn't lay it down. Juanda showed three hearts in th hole, , for a heart flush to collect the whole side pot and half of the main pot. Phillips got the other half of the main pot with in the hole, an 8-7 low. Heimiller got nothing.
After a raise and call on fifth street, David Benyamine and David Singer were off to sixth street. Benyamine had the lead and check-called a bet by Singer.
On seventh street, Benyamine checked once again, only to see Singer bet all in.
Benyamine: - X
Singer: - X
Benyamine promptly folded and Singer increased his chip stack to 140,000.
