Annette Obrestad Eliminated in 11th Place ($13,654); Michael Pesek Eliminated in 10th Place ($17,294)

Annette Obrestad - 11th Place
Annette Obrestad - 11th Place

We now have an official final table thanks to a double knockout by our new chip leader Derric Haynie.

Haynie opened to 36,000 on the button and Annette Obrestad shoved for 310,000 from the small blind. Michael Pesek re-shoved for 460,000 from the big, and the action was back on Haynie. He removed his glasses and massaged his temple, trying to work out the situation at hand. He had both players covered with 492,000 in his own stack, and he decided to commit the majority of his chips for a chance at a double knockout and a final table birth:

Showdown
Haynie: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Obrestad: {a-Hearts}{7-Spades}
Pesek: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

Everyone in the vicinity crowded around the table to see the dealer fan {8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{k-Hearts}.

"High cards!" Alex Keating shouted from the rail.

The dealer wrapped the table and delivered a low card, the {3-Diamonds}, which officially eliminated Obrestad in 11th Place. Pesek could still double with an ace or a queen however.

The {j-Diamonds} on the river missed Pesek though eliminating him in 10th place and nearly tripling Haynie's stack to 1.26 million chips.
