Epic Tank Results in Fold for Seed
Normally, in a fixed-limit tournament, you don't see players think through their decisions for much longer than 30 or 45 seconds because the decision is never for more than one bet. However, when that bet represents half of your stack behind, and the pot is three times your stack behind, it's a much more critical decision.
Huck Seed found himself raised on the river of a board by Dan Heimiller. Seed tanked for more than three minutes, talking to himself all the while.
"I run so bad I can't believe it."
"Will you show if I fold?"
"I was going to bluff you and I made a flush."
Ultimately, Seed flashed his flush to Heimiller and then mucked, preserving 40,000 in his stack.
