...And Troy Halved Again

Frank Kassela was the bring-in, and he was the only player to fold on third street. Melville Lewis raised with his six up, Vladimir Shchemelev called with a four, and Maxwell Troy followed suit with his seven in the door.

Lewis: (X)(X)/{6-}{6-}{A-}{8-}/(X)
Shchemelev: (X)(X)/{4-}{10-}{K-} --muck--
Troy: (X)(X)/{7-}{2-}{Q-}{K-}/(X)

On fourth street, Troy bet his lead, and both opponents called. Troy bet again on fifth, and this time only Lewis called as Shchemelev elected to duck out of the way. On sixth street, Lewis took the betting lead, and Troy check-called. He check-called one more on seventh street, though he looked pained as he tanked pre-call.

Lewis said, "Eight," and he turned up his {8-}{4-}{2-}. It was good; Troy tapped the table with his cards and then mucked, and that loss drops him back to 160,000.
