Forget a knife, you could cut the tension with a toothpick in here as the bubble continues to overshadow proceedings. The last encounter to finish on the last round saw Stephen Chidwick reach the river of a 
board. His opponent, one of a handful of Brazilian players proudly donning their nation's colors, casually checked before sitting back in his chair and sipping on a Red Bull. At first I thought his lax attitude was a double bluff, and he'd snap a bet, but when Chidwick prudently trickled 8,000 into the middle, he quickly threw his cards into the muck.
