Psychological Battles

The atmosphere is rather tense at the moment as the four remaining players continue to engage in a psychological battle. Every move, every decision, is deliberately and meticulously made, and the other players are always suspicious that someone else is making a move.
The last pot of note saw Benjamin Smith raise to 175,000 from the small blind and Taylor Larkin call from the big. On the 
flop, Smith led for 250,000 and Larkin called. On the 
turn, however, Smith conceded the hand by check-folding to a bet of 400,000. As a result, Smith had dropped down to around the million mark and is currently the shortest stack at the table.
