A Best-Selling Story In The Making

The World Series of Poker has traditionally been a platform for cross promotion as celebrities from many walks of life come together on the felt. In the years past, we've seen movie stars, sporting legends, models and authors take their place in the Main Event field to grab the attention of the mainstream media and help to promote poker to non-poker playing fans.
In today's field we've spotted one celebrity, British-born German, Charlotte Roche, who is well known for being a television presenter, actress, singer and author. Her book Feuchtgebiete (in English "Wetlands") was the world's best-selling novel in March 2008. It has been described by its supporters as being "an erotic literary classic" while critics claim it to be "cleverly marketed pornography".
If Roche's talents on the poker felt are able to match those off it, then we're sure to see her pen a great story with a deep run in this Main Event. At the moment Roche is hovering around 28,000.
