Hougaard Can't Beat Two Pair

Ronnie Bardah raised from early position to 31,000. Action moved around to Jesper Hougaard on the button and he placed a chip on his cards before thinking about things for a minute. He then opted to three-bet to 82,000. The blinds folded and play fell back on Bardah. He squeezed his cards once more and then tossed in the call.

The flop came down {Q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and Bardah tapped the table to move action over to Hougaard. He checked behind to see the {9-Hearts} come on the turn. Both players checked again.

The river completed the board with the {3-Hearts}, putting a pair of threes out there. Bardah and Hougaard both checked.

Bardah tabled the {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for eights and threes. Hougaard mucked and dropped to 688,000 in chips. Bardah won the pot and increased to 1.66 million.
