Pasqualini Happy To Miss

Jacobo Fernandez opened with a raise to 56,000 from early position and Jean Pasqualini made the call on the button. Matthew Reed came along in the big blind and we were three ways to a flop of {3-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{4-Spades}.

Action checked to Fernandez who fired 100,000. Pasqualini made the call before Reed moved all in for his last 709,000. Fernandez made the call and the action was back with Pasqualini who appeared to have a tough decision.

He went into the tank and eventually called the clock on himself! Finally he decided to release his {6-Spades}{5-Spades} for a straight-flush draw.

Reed: {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Fernandez: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}

After all the tension, both players tabled the same hand and were destined to chop it up. All the interest was whether Pasqualini would've hit his monster draw. He was relieved to see that he would not, as the {4-Diamonds} turn and {9-Clubs} river bricked the board.
