Davidian Loses Big Race, Is Eliminated
Just as the last hands were playing out, a huge one developed over on the secondary feature table between Manuel Davidian and Filippo Candio.
Davidian opened with a raise from the button, Candio reraised to 265,000 from the small blind, and the big blind got out. Davidian then reraised again to 610,000, and Candio didn't take too long before declaring he was all in for about 2.6 million total.

, causing Davidian to move away from the table quickly at the sight of the king. He leaned back to see the

river, and after a long period of chip counting it was determined Davidian had just about 100,000 left with which to play. Meanwhile, Candio suddenly had more than 5.3 million in his stack.
"Good gambling, eh?" said Candio to Davidian afterwards. "Go for the maximum, not the minimum." Understandably, Davidian wasn't in such a cheery mood about it all.
