Chop It Up
Antonio Esfandiari and Joe Hachem have really been going after each other. A minute ago, they both got all of their chips in the middle with ace-queen against ace-queen and split the pot.
A few hands later, Esfandiari raised to 1,000, and Hachem repopped it to 2,600. Esfandiari called and checked the flop. Hachem bet 3,250, and Antonio called. Both players checked the turn. After the river, Antonio tried to steal the pot with a 5,300 bet. Hachem called with for top pair, second kicker. Esfandiari tabled for the exact same hand, and the chopped the pot again.
"The turn over a better hand than I've had every single time," lamented Howard Lederer. "I keep thinking they could be playing less than that, but they always have it. It's unbelievable"
