Lind Atop the See-Saw Now

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante

Viacheslav Zhukov raised, George Lind called, and they took a {J-Spades} {6-Diamonds} {6-Spades} flop. Lind check-called a bet there, and he check-called another one after the {2-Hearts} on fourth street. The {A-Hearts} landed on the river, and the two men were content to check it down.

Lind showed first, and {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} {J-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} was good. Queens up gives Lind the pot, and it moves him into a 2:1 chip lead now with just over 4.1 million.

And Lind Pulls Back

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante

George Lind raised on the button, Viacheslav Zhukov called from the big blind, and the flop fell {k-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{4-Clubs}. Zhukov led out, Lind called, and the turn brought the {9-Clubs}. Zhukov slowed down, check-calling a bet from Lind, and the river was the {4-Spades}. Zhukov checked again, but when faced with another bet he was forced to fold.

Lind is now ahead with 3.8 million chips.

Zhukov Tugs the Rope

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante

Viacheslav Zhukov raised the button, George Lind called, and they took a {4-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} {5-Hearts} flop. Lind checked, then raised Zhukov's continuation bet. They put in two small bets apiece, and the turn {10-Spades} drew a follow-up bet from Lind. Zhukov called, and they both checked through the {9-Spades} river.

Lind showed {A-Clubs} {2-Hearts} {2-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} for a lowly pair of fives, and Zhukov's {J-Spades} {J-Clubs} {3-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} gave him the pot and a 2:1 chip lead once again.

Even Steven

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante

Viacheslav Zhukov raised on the button, George Lind called in the big blind, and the flop came {5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. Lind check-called a bet, and the turn was the {9-Spades}. Lind led this time, Zhukov called, and the river was the {j-Spades}. Both players checked.

Lind opened up {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for tens and nines, scooped the pot, and now we're all-square.

Lind Scoops a Double

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante

Viacheslav Zhukov raised the button, and George Lind flatted for the flop. It came {3-Spades} {A-Diamonds} {8-Spades}, and Lind knocked the table. Zhukov bet, Lind check-raised, and Zhukov put in the extra bet to see the {4-Diamonds} on the turn. Lind only had 245,000 chips left, and he stuck them in there to put his tournament life at risk.

Showdown
Lind: {2-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} {10-Clubs}
Zhukov: {Q-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} {K-Spades} {5-Spades}

Lind was guaranteed to get his money back, and he'd scoop if he could fade a diamond. The river was red but the wrong shade, and the {3-Hearts} means a double up to 2.09 million.

"The wheels on the bus go round and round," T.D. Robbie Thompson sings on the mic.

Zhukov Goes Runner-Runner, Scoops Again

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante

George Lind raised with the button, Viacheslav Zhukov called in the big blind, and the flop fell {3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. Zhukov check-called a bet from Lind, and the turn was the {j-Diamonds}. Both players checked.

The river was the {q-Clubs}, and Zhukov led out. Lind called, but mucked when Zhukov tabled {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} for a rivered straight. Lind is really short now, he only has about a million chips.

Zhukov Scoops

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante
Viacheslav Zhukov
Viacheslav Zhukov

Viacheslav Zhukov raised the button, and George Lind called to see the flop. It came out {7-Diamonds} {2-Spades} {10-Clubs}, and Lind check-called a bet. He checked again on the {J-Clubs} turn, and Zhukov checked it back as the {8-Clubs} completed the board. Check from Lind, bet from Zhukov, and a call.

Zhukov had run down the flush with {3-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {3-Spades} {8-Spades}, and his low was good enough to take both halves of the pot. He's opened up a 2:1 chip lead now with about 4 million to Lind's 2 million.

Massive Chop

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante

Viacheslav Zhukov started with the button, and raised. George Lind called, and the flop came down {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{6-Hearts}. Lind check-called a bet, and the turn brought the {4-Spades}. Lind led, and Zhukov called.

The river was the {3-Diamonds}, and Lind led again. Zhukov raised, Lind called, and the hands were tabled.

Lind: {5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades} - High
Zhukov: {a-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{j-Spades} - Low

Chop it up.

Lind Can't Call the Last One

Level 31 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante

Viacheslav Zhukov raised the button, and George Lind called for the flop. It came {8-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} {K-Spades}, and Lind check-called the continuation bet. The {6-Diamonds} drew another bet from Zhukov, and Lind check-called again before the {3-Diamonds} rivered. When Zhukov fired the last bullet, Lind spent a long while in the tank, probably longer than at any other point. It was at least a minute or so, but he eventually slipped his cards into the muck, sending the pot to Zhukov.

With it comes the chip lead, and he's in front with about 3.2 million now.

Zhukov mucked, and Lind retook the chip lead.
