Guillaume Rivet raised to open the pot, and Jason Steinberg defended his big blind to go heads-up to the flop.

turn, he check-raised, and Rivet paid the extra bet to see the 
river. Steinberg checked again this time, and Rivet checked it back. Steinberg's hand had a jack and a three in it, but they were quickly mucked.
Rivet's 
was flushtastic, giving him the pot and boosting his stack back up to about 605,000. The audience erupted in a brief but boisterous French-Canadian frenzy.
