Matt Sterling
Matt Sterling

After four bets went in preflop between Matt Sterling and Andrew Brongo, Sterling was all in on the {J-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop.

Sterling: {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Brongo: {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

Brongos overpair was in the lead and Sterling would need running cards to stave off elimination. The {A-Clubs} on the turn sealed his fate and the {5-Clubs} on the river was just procedure.

Mitch Schock

Mitch Schock raised from the hijack and Tyler Bonkowski made it three bets from the small blind. Schock made the call and called Bonkowskis bets on both the {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop and {Q-Spades} turn. On the {9-Spades} river, Bonkowski bet once more and Schock raised. Bonkowski made it three bets and Schock made the call. Bonkowski turned over {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs} for quads and Schock was crippled down to 5,000, half the size of the small blind.

The very next hand Shock quintupled up to 25,000 however the hand after that would lead to his demise. With Schock in the big blind for 20,000, Bonkowski raised and Schock threw in his last 5,000 as the players showed their hands.

Bonkowski: {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}
Schock: {J-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

The {9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop was of no help to Schock and he would need some form of running cards to survive. The {Q-Diamonds} on the turn however left him drawing dead and the {5-Clubs} on the river ended the hand as Schock was eliminated and Bonkowski increased his chip lead.

Picking Up The Blinds

Level 24 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

With the limits so big at this point, the past few pots have been won by a single preflop raise that has picked up the blinds. Any pots that receive numerous raises and calls, especially on the turn and river, are bound to be huge.

Keller Doubles Up Through Bonkowski

No more then five minutes after we reported on Shawn Keller's recent struggles, he has doubled up through Tyler Bonkowski. Keller raised under the gun, and Bonkowski three bet in the highjack. Keller called, and they saw a flop of {q-Spades}{j-Spades}{4-Spades}. The two raised each other until Keller's last chips were in the middle, and Keller was a big favorite.

Keller: {j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Bonkowski: {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}

The turn came the {4-Diamonds}, and Keller was still in the lead, and stayed there, as the river came the {j-Hearts}. Keller doubled up, and Bonkowski lost the pot, but is still one of the chip leaders.
