Hellmuth Doubles Through Rodawig

Level 24 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Racener: {X-}{X-}/{4-Hearts} - folded
Rodawig: {3-Hearts}{5-Spades}/{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades}{7-Diamonds}/{X-}
Hellmuth: {2-Diamonds}{4-Spades}/{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{4-Clubs}/{X-}

John Racener was the bring in. Eric Rodawig completed and Phil Hellmuth called. John Racener ducked out of the way.

Hellmuth check-called on fourth street and when Rodawig took the on-board lead on fifth street, he bet. Hellmuth called, setting up the drama and crazyness on sixth. Hellmuth paired up and led out with a bet, Rodawig raised, and Hellmuth got his chips in as quickly as he could.

There was a good amount of confusion at the table, especially with Rodawig, on how the action reached that point and what still needed to be put into the pot. After about a minute of running through it, it was figured out and Hellmuth turned over his full house. Rodawig was none too pleased, turning over a worse full house.

Both players caught queens on seventh, securing the double for Hellmuth.

Hellmuth - 830,000
Rodawig - 1,590,000
