We were in the midst of watching a large pot brewing between Matt Jarvis and Grayson Ramage when our attention was diverted to the neighboring table.

Shane Schleger was all in with {K-Clubs}{10-Spades} versus Jonathan Duhamel's {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}, and the board had come {K-Spades}{2-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}, giving Schleger two pair and continued tourney life. He's at about 185,000 now, while Duhamel is back down to about 200,000.

When we'd left the Ramage-Jarvis battle, there had been about 100,000 in the middle with the board showing {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and Jarvis having pushed out a bet and Ramage was contemplating what to do next. The consequence of that situation had been all of Jarvis' chips finding their way into the center. Ramage had {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}, but Jarvis -- like Schleger -- had made two pair on the turn as he held {7-Spades}{6-Spades}. The river was the {10-Spades}, and Jarvis was suddenly way up to 650,000. Meanwhile, Ramage has slipped to just under 50,000.
