Big Hands Post-Break

Jordan Rich
Jordan Rich

Jordan Rich raised it up to 24,000 from the cutoff, and Mathieu Jacqmin re-raised to 36,000 from the button. The betting wasn't done though as Chris Kwon, re-raised to 48,000 from the small blind and Rich re-raised one last time to cap it at 60,000. Jacqmin folded and Kwon called to see the {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} flop.

Kwon checked, Rich bet out 12,000 and Kwon called. The turn came {4-Hearts} and both players checked to see the river {7-Clubs}. Chris bet out and got a call from Rich.

Rich showed {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} to beat the {j-}{j-} of Kwon.

Rich scooped the big pot and moves up to 612,000 and Chris is very short with only 140,000.

Denotaristefani Triples Up

Justin Pechie put in two bets in early position, and Dale Eberle called. It folded to a short stacked Dom Denotaristefani, who put in three bets, saying "ok time to double up!." Pechie four bet, and Eberle capped it. Denotaristefani called, leaving himself just a few thousand behind. Denotaristefani checked in the dark, and the flop came out {2-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}. Pechie bet, Eberle raised, and Denotaristefani put in his last few thousand. Pechie called, and the two players checked down the {a-Clubs} on the turn, and the {6-Spades} on the river. Eberle showed {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}, but Denotaristefani showed {q-Spades}{q-Hearts} for trip queens. It was good enough to take the pot, and Denotaristefani got some much needed chips.

Eberle Gets Hot Again

Dale Eberle limped in from under-the gun, Stephen Bass raised it up to 20,000 from the cutoff, and he got called from Chris Kwon in the big blind and Eberle in the big blind.

The flop came down {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}{9-Clubs}. Kwon checked, Eberle checked, and Bass ruined the fun by betting out 10,000. Both Kwon and Eberle called and they saw the {8-Spades} turn.

Both Kwon and Eberle checked, and again Bass bet out 20,000. Kwon folded but Eberle made the call.

The river was the {10-Spades}, Eberele changed it up by betting out and Bass made the call.

Eberle showed {a-}{7-} for the rivered straight and Bass threw his {a-}{k-} in the air and couldn't believe his eyes. Eberle has been seemingly untouchable at this final table and he is up to 860,000.

Dale Finally Loses One

Ari Engel
Ari Engel

Dale Eberle raised it up from middle position, Ari Engel re-raised to 30,000 from late position and Eberle called.

The flop came down {5-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} Eberle checked, Engel bet, and Eberle made the call to see the {4-Spades} turn.

Eberle checked again, Engel bet out 20,000 and Eberle check-raised to 40,000. Engel made the call and the river came down {9-Spades}.

Eberle bet out 20,000 and Engel insta-called. Eberle confidently flipped over {q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for a pair of tens, but Engel one upped him with {k-Hearts}{10-Clubs} to have him out-kicked and to take down the pot.

Eberle is still way up in chips, but Engel slowed down his run a bit with that win.

Jacqmin Jumps Towards The Top

Mathieu Jacqmin
Mathieu Jacqmin

Mathieu Jacqmin made it two bets in middle position, and Ari Engel made it three from the button. Everyone else folded, and Jacqmin called. The flop came {2-Spades}{8-Spades}{10-Clubs}, and Jacqmin checked. Engel bet out, and Jacqmin raised. Engel called, and the turn came the {8-Diamonds}. Jacqmin led out, and it was Engel's turn to raised. However, Jacqmin came over the top for another bet, and Engel made the call, making this one of the biggest pots of the day. The river brought the {6-Spades}, and Jacqmin bet out. Engel tanked for about 30 seconds, before calling. Jacqmin showed {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} for a flopped set turned full house, and it was good enough to take down the big pot.

Denotaristefani Down Big

Mathieu was under the gun, and put in two orange chips, then two more. This is your classic string bet, and although he claimed he announced raise, no one heard him. His bet was deemed a call, and due to the discounted price, Dale Eberle, Ari Engel, and Dom Denotaristefani all called. Stephen Bass raised on the button, and it folded back to Jacqmin, who made a proper raise this time. Eberle and Engel got out of the way, and Denotaristefani and Bass called. The flop came out {8-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}, and Jacqmin bet out. Denotaristefani raised, and while Bass folded, Jacqmin called to see a turn, which came the {10-Spades}. Jacqmin check called Denotaristefani's bet, and the river came the {2-Diamonds}. This time, Jacqmin bet out, and Denotaristefani went into the tank. He opted to fold, and the big pot was shipped over to Jacqmin, while Denotaristefani was left as our early short stack.

Eberle Running Over His Table

Dale Eberle
Dale Eberle

Despite being the oldest player at the table by at least 20 years, Dale Eberle has been by far the most active player. Eberle just took four of six hands to boost his chip lead even further. Every time, he raised preflop, and was either called or three bet making it a heads up hand. Eberle came along each time, and by the end of the hand, he had the chips each time. Eberle is now up nearly 800,000, and is the early chip leader.
