Dale Eberle Wins Table In Dominating Fashion

When we came back from the dinner break, Dale Eberle started with a commanding chip lead on his table and he never let up. Now, only 35 minutes into Level 15, he has won his table and earned the first spot on tomorrow's final table. As the players at his table had been complaining the entire level, "You always have it man, it's unreal."

We came in when Todd Witteles was down to 18,000 and David Speicher was down to 10,000.

Eberle in the small blind raised it up and Witteles in the big blind re-raised with Eberle calling. The flop came down {k-Hearts}{3-Spades}{8-Clubs} Eberle checked, Witteles bet, and Eberle called.

The turn came {10-Clubs} and Eberle bet out with Witteles calling. The river was the {6-Spades} and Eberle bet out again and Witteles put in his last 2,000 chips and Eberle instantly turned over {q-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and Witteles' head fell to the table and he flipped over his {a-}{8-}. Witteles was knocked out and Eberle went heads-up with Speicher

Two hands into heads-up play, Speicher got his last chips in preflop and was called by Eberle. Speicher had {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and Speicher had {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} After the cards were flipped over Speicher said, "I have you dominated right now, and that kind of worries me."

Sure enough, the flop came {2-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} and Speicher just laughed, the turn and river came {4-Diamonds} and {3-Clubs} and Witteles who was still standing on the rail said, "That's as fitting an end as we could've expected."

The two heads-up opponents shook hands and Eberle gets to call it an early night in preparation for tomorrow's final table. We still only have one other heads-up table so there is still plenty of time before we know who will fill out the last nine spots.
