Kabbaj Gets a Huge Double Up

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Sami Kelopuro opened the action with a raise from the button to 55,000 before John Kabbaj three-bet from the small blind to 180,000. Kelopuro thought for a long while before sliding in the chips for a call.

The flop came down {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and Kabbaj led for 150,000. Kelopuro decided to raise all in and Kabbaj had a pretty easy decision to make the call as he held {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{q-Spades}{j-Spades} for top set and the current nuts. Kelopuro wasn't dead though with {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. He would need a King for a better set or a Ten for a straight. The turn was the {9-Hearts} though and took away hit straight outs. The river was the {10-Clubs} but it was too late, Kabbaj had already boated up.

Kabbaj has 1.3 million while Kelopuro is crippled and left with just 300,000.
