Ace on the River Sends Frankenberger to the Rail
Action folded around to McLean Karr in the small blind and he put in standard raise. A short-stacked Andy Frankenberger was in the big blind and responded by moving all in for 23,300 more. Karr thought long and hard, at times appearing pained by the decision. "I have a suited ace. I don't think I can folded," he explained. A few moments later, he made the call.

The flop contained no clubs and no ace, which was good news for Frankenberger. The turn meant Karr was left drawing to an ace on the river, and much to Frankenberger's dismay, the spiked!
"Nice hand," was all Frankenberger could say as he exited the Amazon Room.
"Wow, an ace on the river," Karr said under his breath as he stacked his newly-won chips.
