Owais Ahmed limped the button and Michael Mizrachi checked his option before check calling a bet on the flop. Mizrachi then led out on the turn and Ahmed made the call before both players checked the river.
Mizrachi showed for queens up and it was good for yet another pot, it's quite incredibly to see how quickly the momentum has switched from one way to the other over the last 30 minutes.
Michael Mizrachi has picked up the last four pots in Omaha 8 and has suddenly moved back into a commanding position. The last of which saw both players check the flop before Owais Ahmed fired on the turn and river. Mizrachi showed for a flush and amazingly Ahmed flashed what looked to be a smaller flush before sending it into the muck.
Michael Mizrachi raised on the button and Owais Ahmed defended. Mizrachi fired out on a board and Ahmed check-raised. Mizrachi made the call and then also called bets on the turn and river.
Ahmed showed for the nut straight and he regains the chip lead again.
Joining the action on fourth street and Ahmed was betting fourth and fifth before Mizrachi check-raised on sixth, betting seventh in the dark. Ahmed called him down but Mizrachi showed for queens up and it was good for the pot.
The Mizrachi rail erupted for the first time in a while as their man retook the chip lead.
Owais Ahmed has really hit a purple patch right now since the break, he's winning virtually every pot. He called a raise in the big blind from Michael Mizrachi before check-calling the flop. Both players then checked the turn and Ahmed led out on the river. Mizrachi folded and we have a new chip leader.
The chip stacks are almost even after Michael Mizrachi decided to fold to on the turn of a turn against Owais Ahmed after the latter had check-called the flop and then check-raised the turn.
Mizrachi and Ahmed capped the pot on third before Mizrachi proceeded to bet every single street. Ahmed called him down and 'The Grinder' could only show having bricked everything. Ahmed flipped for just a pair of nines and they were good to scoop the pot.
