PokerNews' Hall Hits the Rail
Level 9
: 400/800, 0 ante
Our own Chris Hall recently stopped by the media desk to give us the unfortunate news that he has been eliminated from the tournament. According to Hall, he held and raised to 2,800 preflop, leaving himself 2,900 behind. He received a call from the player in the big blind, who bet enough to put Hall in on the flop.
Hall called off with his nut-flush draw, but needed to improve against the big blind's . Unfortunately for Hall, a on the turn ended his hopes of a PLO8 title. On a brighter note, Hall's birthday is tomorrow and we have no doubt he'll have himself a good time . . . most likely playing Pai Gow.
