Zaichecking Out

Pot-Limit Omaha

When we reached the table, the flop had already fallen {j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{k-Clubs}. David Oppenheim checked, Zaichenko put out a bet, and Johnny "World" Hennigan folded. Oppenheim put in a raise to 51,000, and Zaichenko called.

The turn was the {8-Clubs}, and Oppenheim fired 115,000. Zaichenko moved all in for around 250,000, and Oppenheim called.

Oppenheim: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}{q-Spades}{9-Spades}
Zaichenko: {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}

Oppenheim had flopped top set to Zaichenko's bottom set, but the Russian added a flush draw on the turn. The river was another eight however - the {8-Hearts} to be exact - and Zaichenko was eliminated from the tournament.

Oppenheim is now our chip leader with around 740,000 chips.
