Hand #272: Pius Heinz

Level 42 : 1,000,000/2,000,000, 300,000 ante

Pius Heinz had the button, and he raised to 4 million. Martin Staszko called, and the flop brought {8-Hearts} {4-Clubs} {J-Spades}. The two of them checked through to the {5-Hearts} turn, and Staszko checked the {5-Hearts} turn as well. That sprang Heinz back into action, and he made a bet of 5 million straight. Staszko gave it just a cursory look before surrendering.

Level 42 : 1,000,000/2,000,000, 300,000 ante

The turn paired the board with the {8-Diamonds} and both players checked to see the {6-Diamonds} fall on the river. Heinz checked and Staszko bet 11.25 million. Heinz tanked and then folded to give Staszko the pot.

Hand #270: Pius Heinz

Level 42 : 1,000,000/2,000,000, 300,000 ante

Pius Heinz raised to 4 million from the button, and Martin Staszko flatted to see the flop.

It came {A-Spades} {A-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds}, and Staszko check-called a continuation bet of 4 million. On the {9-Spades} turn, though, he changed up his line and led out into the pot with 6 million of his own chips. That drew a long pause from Heinz, but he eventually made the call to see the last card off the deck, the {4-Diamonds}. The two men checked it down, and it looked like Staszko showed queen-high. Whatever he had, he couldn't beat the {9-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} of Pius Heinz, and the German is clawing his way back up the chip counts.
