When we scanned the list of players who would be starting the day in the blue section we noticed that Table #296 had a couple of recognizable names including Matt Waxman, Kenny Nguyen and ... Ronald McDonald?
We've confirmed that the player in the 1 seat at that table is in fact named identically to the McDonald's mascot. Our reporter's heads were already swimming with fast-food-related puns and then we noticed that his card protector is a small figurine of a rooster. Please excuse us as we now have "Old McDonald" jokes trying to escape our typing fingers as well.
McDonald started the day with just shy of 40,000 in chips and we'll be keeping an eye on him throughout the day.
