Wilder's All Wonky

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Harrison Wilder has taken two big hits to his stack in two of the last few hands leading up to the break and as a result, he's down to almost 250,000 in chips.

Earlier, Wilder raised from the button and Thomas Jamieson folded his small blind before John Myung called from the big blind to go heads-up to the flop of {A-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{4-Clubs}. Myung check-raised Wilder after he opened post-flop, but Wilder called before Myung opened on the turn of the {Q-Hearts}.

Both players then checked the river {10-Clubs} and Myung tabled {J-Spades}{4-Spades} for only a small pair, but that was enough to see Wilder kick his hand into the muck.

The button went around once more and Wilder came in with another raise prelfop; Myung was the lone caller again from the big blind and then he check-called Wilder's bet after the flop of {5-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. Myung led out on the turn of the {Q-Diamonds}, which Wilder called, then Myung fired out again on the river of the {K-Spades}.

Wilder raised and Myung called, showing down {5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} for trip fives which was enough to take it down. Myung is now up to over 900,000 in chips after those two hands.
