The Craziness of Froehlich vs. Somerville

Level 20 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante
Eric Froehlich
Eric Froehlich

Jason Somerville and Eric Froehlich have been battling back and forth. First, Somerville doubled up with {A-}{K-} versus {A-}{10-}.

Then Froehlich doubled back with {K-}{10-} to {A-}{Q-} with a ten on the turn. After that, Froehlich took a very big lead with {K-}{Q-} versus {Q-}{J-} on a flop of {K-}{Q-}{10-} that saw the turn and river brick out. That pot smashed Somerville all the way down to just a few thousand in chips.

Somerville the moved in his last 2,800 with the {K-Hearts}{5-Clubs} against the {A-Hearts}{4-Spades} for Froehlich and doubled after a board of {J-Hearts}{10-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Spades}. He then doubled again on the next hand when his {8-Hearts}{2-Clubs} beat Froehlich's {5-Spades}{4-Hearts} on a board of {A-}{10-}{9-}{A-}{2-} after all the money went in preflop.

On the next hand, Froehlich doubled up Somerville once more when his {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs} couldn't beat Somerville's {Q-Spades}{9-Hearts}. Somerville shoved his last 11,200 in preflop and the board ran out {4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}.

Shortly following all those doubles, Froehlich finally busted Somerville to move on to the next round.
