A Couple from the Floor

Here are how a couple of recent hands played out between some familiar faces.

  • Firstly, we watched Terrence Chan and Richard Lyndaker take to a {5-Spades}{9-Clubs}{k-Spades} flop. Chan check-called a bet and both players then checked down the turn {q-Diamonds} and river {a-Spades}. Chan tabled his {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}, enough to take down the pot and see Lyndaker's cards into the muck.
  • On another table, a middle-position player opened it up and Eric Froehlich three-bet from late position. Casey McCarrel then four-bet from the button and the middle-position player got out of the way. Froehlich made the call and a {q-Spades}{6-Clubs}{10-Clubs} flop was dealt. Froehlich opted to chack-call a bet on the flop and the {q-Diamonds} hit the turn. Froehlich checked again, but this time raised when McCarrel flicked out another bet. Too strong for McCarrel, Froehlich took down the pot.
