The cards are in the air for one of the most stacked final tables at the World Series of Poker 2012!
Can anyone stop Brandon Cantu? That will be the question on all the players coming back for the final table of the World Series of Poker Event 30: $1,500 2-7 Draw Lowball, starting at 2:00 PM local time.
It looked as if Michael Mizrachi was set to be clear chip leader coming into today for a long time yesterday, but he lost his way near the end. Cantu’s tournament has been building right from the off at this tournament and he’ll be hoping he hasn’t reached his peak yet.
Rep Porter has been quietly working towards his goal, and it took until all the players were on one table of eight before he really stamped his mark on this tournament, winning a big pot of Mizrachi that enable him to finish the day second in chips.
Just below the top three already mentioned sit Erick Lindgren and Andrew Lichtenberger, who help to make this final table an absolute shark-fest.
Here’s how the final seven line up today:
Seat | Player | Chip Count |
---|---|---|
1 | Erick Lindgren | 185,600 |
2 | Ryan Tepen | 51,100 |
3 | Rep Porter | 233,400 |
4 | Brandon Cantu | 336,100 |
5 | Michael Mizrachi | 206,800 |
6 | Andrew Lichtenberger | 161,100 |
7 | Larry Wright | 116,200 |
Join us back here at 2:00 PM when this exciting finale will kick off.
