Theo Hurting

Theo Tran opened up the action to 50,000 from the hijack and the play was sent around to Bahman Jahanguiri in the big blind. He shoved all in for 483,000 and Jahanguiri looked sick as he contemplated the call.

"Do you want me to call?" asked Tran. "I don't even want me to call."

Time ticked on and Jahanguiri still hadn't decided to to do. Eventually he asked the floor if he could say his hand out loud and told his opponent he had ace-jack. After some more time, he made the call and the two players turned their hands over.

Jahanguiri: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Tran: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}

Tran seemingly made a good decision, but was then on his feet taking deep breaths as the {4-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Spades} board gave Jahanguiri the double up and left Tran with a pittance of the stack he once had.

Manza Wins Small One

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Folded to Dung Nguyen in the hijack, he opened up the pot to 44,000. Jeffery Manza called on his direct left and a {7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop hit the felt. Nguyen checked here and then slowly called Manza's bet of 48,000.

On the {9-Spades} turn, Nguyen again checked and this time Manza bet 71,000. It didn't take long for Nguyen's cards to find the muck as Manza raked in the small pot.

Jesse Wilke Eliminated in 18th Place ($21,689)

Jesse Wilke - 18th Place
Jesse Wilke - 18th Place

The first elimination after our table redraw has occurred within just a few minutes. It all started when Jesse Wilke opened up the pot to 35,000. David Pham was in the small blind and he three bet to 80,000. Wilke then instantly went all in and Pham called just as quickly.

Pham's {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} was in good shape against Wilke's {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}, but when the {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop hit the felt, Wilke took the lead. However, the {8-Hearts} turn had other ideas, giving Pham the flush and by the time the meaningless {k-Spades} rolled off on the river, Wilke was making his way out the door in 18th place.

Jason Lester - 19th Place
Jason Lester - 19th Place

Jason Lester has just been eliminated in 19th place to see the final 18 players redraw for their seat. Lester was left with a tiny stack when he rumbled with Tyler Patterson just a short while ago and never managed to recover from there.

We will have a final 18 table draw posted very soon.

Fischer and Liu Out

Bastian Fischer and Jia Liu have just busted simultaneously on their respective tables. Liu was all-in preflop holding {a-Clubs}{j-Spades} against Blair Hinkle's {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and couldn't catch up.

Fischer held {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} when he got his stack in preflop and was unlucky to run into the {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} of Kristijonas Andrulis. The board ran out {5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{2-Spades}{5-Clubs} and it was all over for Fischer.

Fischer was officially eliminated in 20th place and Liu in 21st.
