River Me, River You

Marco Johnson grabbed a couple of pots to retake the advantage, then came one in which Ronnie Bardah called Johnson's button raise and the pair saw the flop come {6-Spades}{2-Hearts}{8-Spades}. Bardah checked, Johnson bet, Bardah raised, and Johnson called.

The turn was the {J-Spades}, and Bardah led this time, getting a call. The river then brought the {4-Clubs}. Bardah bet once more, and once again Johnson called.

Bardah tabled {5-Spades}{3-Hearts}, a hand which the announcer initially described as "six-high." He corrected himself quickly, however, noting that Bardah had filled a straight with that river four to retake the chip lead.

Then came another hand in which Johnson raised and Bardah called, then the flop came {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}. Bardah check-called Johnson's bet, then both checked the {8-Hearts} turn.

The river was the {4-Clubs}. Bardah bet this time, and Johnson called. Bardah showed {Q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for queen-high, and Johnson showed {Q-Hearts}{4-Spades} — again, a four on the river had won the pot.

After that exchange, the pair are virtually even.
